I find design very important in music and how you perceive an album. As an exercise, I create cover art concepts for some of my favorite albums. I interpret them based on the music itself. It’s important for the artwork to feel like the music you’re listening to. The reason I started this ongoing creative exercise was to explore different styles within current design trends and to push my work in directions that I can’t always take my client work.
